Does it have an option in the camera controls? I know that my logitech has that in where all the brighness and flicker filter and other options are with apps that will support that dialog to come up, when off there is a slider to go from near to far.

Try the Webcam System Settings app from the Microsoft Store.  It makes the Windows camera controls accessible again, so you can lock off the focus, and also do colour temperature corrections, which is nice.  The only downside is that you have to run it again after each reboot.  These setting used to be available by default in earlier versions of Win 10.
