I've seen what can be done with a Wacom Bamboo, does anyone know if the DSE tablet can do the same? How does it compare?

DSE Slim Tablet $129
Wacom Bamboo Fun $249 or $177

I had a play with the dse slim tablet on a vista machine on friday.

I was surprised at it's responsiveness, and having an a4 size pad I thought was a bonus.  Has you tried the bamboo fun, os the bamboo A6??  I've been looking for one for some bitmap editing for work.

I've had a short go on a Wacom tablet and I know the Bamboo's limits are beyond my skill so buying one would be fine. The DSE one is cheaper though but I don't know how it compares technically and is able to produce the same level of art as seen on deviantart.

I went with the Wacom Bamboo for $150 because I know they work well and I've head the DSE ones aren't very good.

I was thinking the same thing, at least with the wacom you could get spare parts.

But the main thing I liked about the DSE one was that I think the A4 tablet matched the whole screen.

How does the wacom handle that since they are about a6 size?

You can configure it so each corner of the tablet matches each corner of your monitor apparently.
