I've been looking at an ultrawide screen for simracing/gaming for a little while now, and recently PBtech has had these Titan Army ultrawides on sale.
when I google them I don't find a whole lot, just wondering if anyone has experience with these screens? are they decent? what's the deal with Titan Army also?

Check out their dead pixel policy - I have a vague recollection that a few years ago it wasn't so good. Might be fine now, but worth checking.

After doing a little more research they seem like a genuine deal but you just need to be wary of or accept some minor defects. ghosting, dead and light pixels seem to be the most common issues, but it seems like most people got good panels. I've seen claims the advertised response time is off too but thats common even on the high end.

Going to pickup the 34in ultrawide and if I have any weird problems I'll update this thread for anyone else curious.

Had quite a few friends using these screens - only one had a dead pixel issue which got sorted out by pbtech promptly. Other than that, they seem solid.

They are like the xiaomi and other off-brand screens, leftover panels sold at low cost. They’re decent for their advertised main specs but outside of what they give as warranty don’t expect anything more.

Given they’re on sale or at low price compared to other budget monitors they are a good choice to start with.

I know several people with them. One got a discount up front for a dead pixel. All are very happy with their purchases.

I think their colour representation is off and difficult to get right. Also find that when some apps are running fullscreen, the brightness and colour saturation drops right off.
