Hi Guys,


Im having a problem with my audio driver. I cant seem to get it fully installed. Here, i'll show u some screen shot, I hope its big enough for ya.






















This is where im having trouble with, this error keeps coming up.....and ive done all my windows updates. Surprisingly windows did NOT automatically detect my audio driverCry


I hope you guys can help, any information will help.

opps sorry, the error

Install Realtek HD Audio Driver Failure !!

You might have to install the Microsoft UAA bus driver first.

Yeah, disable the microsoft UAA as that should install automatically before the other drivers are installed.

- go into control panel, disable the driver or click uninstall
- install the realtek drivers
- reinstall the UAA bus driver

Also, you might run into trouble with some games with the latest realtek drivers. If they crash on startup, mute the microphone. I know it sounds weird, but the driver somehow conflicts with some ingame microphone systems(Crashes on COD4, COD5, NFS) and if muted doesn't pick it up :)

yeah ur right. So its still ok to reinstall the UAA bus driver...cause ive just did this

- go into control panel, disable the driver or click uninstall
- install the realtek drivers
NOT reinstall the UAA bus driver

Yeah it's still ok to readd it, just get the latest driver from the microsoft site + any hotfixes on the same page.
I've done this on most of my PCs as i don't use an external sound card yet :)
