Hey guys,

I need some software (pref freeware) to manage some NTFS partitions.

I currently have cute partition manager.

Anyone know of anything better (I am only dealing with NTFS at this point so stability with that filesystem is better than support for every filesystem under the sun)

Thanks in advance!

I've used the Gparted Live CD (Linux Based) quite a few times to resize the Windows partition in pre-installed laptops and so far so good, and also have some open source tools to clone, backup, etc.
With this kind of tools there's always some probability something really bad happens and lose your data, so having a backup is highly recommended.

I have tried many but EASEUS Partition Manager in my experience is the easiest and have used even partitioning parts of the system drive with data without problems. the best part is that is free.

I use acronis disk director, though it's not technically free. It's the best partition manager I've used so far.
