at my wits end..sony vaio recognises other devices and will activsync, but i ve tried now wiith two xda minis and cant get any connection. with either....problem appears to me to be between sony and xda minis only

have been to microsoft site and back but getting nowhere, dont think its firewall problem but hey what would i know ??
if it is how do i ensure firewalls that may be in operation are configured to allow activsync but then why would other devices recognise and start to sync

at this stage dont know which one to throw out !!
