What are the benefits to upgrading to WMP 10? I was thinking about it also but can't really think of a reason why. Version 9 plays videos & music well enough.

Windows Media Player 10.0 is only available on Windows Mobile 5.0 and some Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition versions. It can only be installed with a ROM upgrade, which is released by the manufacturer with the entire operating system.

Check the HP website for any upgrade, but even so it's not guaranteed it will contain the new player.
