Hi Everyone,
After much search on the internet, I hope I have found the right place where i can be assisted with.Recently, I have bought a second hand HP IPAQ H 6340 & trying to understand the functionality. ( Im a non technical person).

The only problem that Im facing at the moment is running the new applications on the pocket PC, I tried transferring the .exe files thru blue tooth but it doesn't execute the file. Then I sync'd the pocket pc thru the cradle & transferred the file & still it wont work, can you please assist me with the right way to do it. I will really appreciate your help!!

I downloaded the applications from ppc4all.com

Awaiting your reply eagerly!!

KR,

Singhza from Johannesburg

Welcome to Geekzone... The applications need to be "installed". The installer runs on your PC while the Pocket PC is connected through ActiveSync, and can be reinstalled later from ActiveSync itself.

The correct procedure is to connect the Pocket PC and when the sync is completed (or even during the sync) run the program on your PC. This will install the correct Pocket PC program on your device. You might have to tap on the Pocket PC on some confirmation screens.
