I've searched just about everywhere, and I'm new to geekzone, so please help.

Is there anyway to sync Outlook 2003 with Window's Live?  Or would anyone suggest another platform to use instead of Window's Live to sync Outlook with?  I would think that Microsoft products would be easier to sync, but I haven't been able to so far.  I can sync everything with my Mobile device just fine, but I would like to back up calendar, tasks, contacts, etc... online.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you ahead of time.

-Brandon

If you are just looking to back things uup online, then just subscribe to an online backup service (or just get some server space somewhere with ftp access), and backup your .pst file... ?

I want to be able to access my calendar online.  I apologize for posting the question that way, but I don't just want to back up my data; I want to be able to edit Online (Windows Live), and sync with Computer & Mobile Device (Outlook).  Does that make more sense? Or should I be exploring an alternative route?

Thanks again,

-Brandon

Hello... It does make sense, but I am afraid Windows Mobile devices won't synchronise with Windows Live - not yet.

I have all the functionality you are looking for. I do it with Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, Outlook, Outlook Web Access (a feature of Exchange), and my PDA. I can add/delete/edit/view items on any device.

Its not really an option to implement this for one user (unless you are rich and geeky), but you can probably find a subscription service to get a single account somewhere...

There are hosted Exchange Services available... You can find online on 4Smartphone.net or mail2web.com if you are in the U.S., on AnywhereExchange if in New Zealand.

Of course these won't sync to Live Mail, but serve as remote backup and allow on-line access from anywhere, including PDAs.
