Hi there, I'm trialling the SPB weather which is quite cool, except the forecast (I'm in Christchurch) is no where near accurate. I know, most weather forecasts aren't, but this misses by 5-10C each day!

Does anyone know of a feed I can add to my Titan that will give me something worthwhile (ish).

Thanks

Sandy

Hi there

I currently use SPB Weather and have so for a while, I use a custom template for the MetService, very accurate however only updates every three hours. Visit here to download it.

To install copy file to your SPB Weather folder > Templates. Then in SPB Weather follow the following instructions....

Step 1 - Add New Weather Source

Click on Tools (Left soft key) > Weather Source > Add > Browse (find the Template folder for the file - metservice_co_nz.tpl) > ok > Name should then change click ok.

Step 2 - Add Custom City

Click on Add (In the Cities Tab) > Custom (Left Soft Key) > name: Christchurch (Mine is Hamilton) / Forecasts: metservice_co_nz / City Code: christchurch (mine is hamilton) > click ok > click ok.

Then go to your today screen, click on refreash and bingo your weather data will be bang on.

Any problems either PM here or click on my signature logo below... PPCApache

Cheers

Jace

Jace,

Awesome. thanks for that. I will bookmark that page. I'm about to put a bigger SD card in it, so I'm not sure what I will lose. Which brings to mind another question. But I won't go off the topic...I will have a surf first and see if I can find the answer.

Please try Elecont Weather (http://www.elecont.com) It has global coverage you'll never have headache with additional scripts. In addition to full six day weather forecast and animated icons on home/today screen it has the most precise hour by hour forecast for next 48 hours.
