I don't recall the model but it's the new funky looking Nokia phone that both ATT and TMobile sell for their GSM networks. Have read about lots of problems with the SonyEricsson 68 phones and Bluetooth. Has anyone used the new Nokia phone for a Bluetooth modem with the IPAQ 5450/5455?
I'm not sure about problems with T68i/T39m. I use a T39m and am very happy with it - perhaps a little more battery life would be good. But it's one of the best Bluetooth phones available.
You're probably thinking of the 3650, which should hit the New Zealand market in the next month or so. It looks like and awesome phone and, given that it is aimed largely at the youth market, it should be fairly reasonably priced. I have the 7650, and I find it very good.
I have used a Sony Ericsson T68i, and I ended up almost throwing it out the window. It kept on resetting itself at random times, probably due to a software fault (apparently this is common in Sony Ericsson phones). However, the most frustrating thing about it is that whenever I was using the Internet on my computer via bluetooth, the phone would bring up the error 'bluetooth connection failed' at random times. When this happened, the phone would disconnect from the Internet but the computer would fail to recognise that it was disconnected. This would consequently require a reboot of the computer.
