Just another dumb Q.

How long does it take to upgrade firmware???

going from v.11 to v.20.

its taken about 3hours so far??? did I stuff something up ???Sealed

shouldnt take that long.

mine just froze for ages whilst downloading, had to give it another go. Once the actual update has DL'd to your computer should only take 15-20mins (in my experience, for a n82, the thread i started on here asking this very question confirmed that aswell)

I haven't had it take that long before, but it depends on your connection speed as the upgrades are usually in the order of 110MB in size. Hope your phone is on charger, wouldn't want the battery to run out whilst the update is going...

Is your handset Vodafone branded? Interested to know which firmware version Vodafone is up to...

Hey Guys,

I actually left the damm thing on the whole night, it got to step 3, but it kinda froze,

was worried, as there was a message saying do not disconnect as it can damage phone or somethin????



I have to give it another go, but just don't have time.


My N95 is a unbranded one, I brought it over in HK earlier this year.
