Hi all, what do you all reakon the best PPC would be for gaming?  i was looking into getting a Axim x51V but i want somthing with buttons on the top and more RAM.  Any ideas and yes i know a PSP would be best but i dont want a PSP ;p

As far as graphics and processor go, you won't get more powerful than an Axim x51v. It uses VGA resolution, so some of that graphics power is going to be spent on that, but you only have to look at Quake III being played on it to see just how powerful it really is.

If RAM is necessary, you should have a look at the HTC Touch. It's powered by a 400MHz/133MHz dual core processor (the 133MHz core is dedicated to phone operation though) and it has 128MB of RAM; double that of the Titan. That doesn't have a lot of buttons though, so you'd be mostly restricted to screen-operated games.

I'm very happy with the performance my Titan provides for gaming applications - I can emulate about half of Playstation games at a very playable speed. The earlier consoles (8 and 16 bit) are emulated with full, smooth sound and graphics.
