Arrrrr help.....my Qtek will no longer connect to the vodaphone network.....have changed any settings to it.....

Is there a software thing I can do to help this problem or is is hardware..


Any help will be greatfull

Hmmmm the software is fine on the phone.....it just wont connect to the GSM vodaphone network any more......I think its a hardware problem

Also, call Vodafone and check that GPRS *is* still enabled on your account. Sometimes they mess things up.

Cheers for the help Mauricio I have tried the sim card in a different phone and works fine......thats y I think it could be a hardware problem..

Sounds like hardware alright. , Nothing to do with GPRS or settings as you stated clearly.

The antenna's in them have a bad habit of coming loose. try dissasembling and checking to see it's still getting a good connection to the main board. be very careful on this. or running it right beside a cell-site. you might find it's that simple.

Do you still get the screen coming up asking for your PIN?
Have you done a hard reset?
