Does anyone know when Vodafone will release its V20 firmware for N81? What is the typically lag between release elsewhere and Vodafone NZ?

Or should I just debrand my N81?

Cheers.

The lag time varies, but its usually in the order of at least one month if not more. Debranding is worth it anyway, you get the V20 right now (sounds like a massive improvement - changelog is at symbian-freak.com), but more than that you get Nokia's version which will be better than Vodafone's.

Thanks for your reply. One month doesn't sound too bad. In what ways is the Nokia firmware better than Vodafone's?

You don't get VF Live! as the homepage, Nicer icons and themes. Some would say faster menu usage, but thats debatable.

I tried using VoIP on my N81 today, but there's no Internet Telephony option in Tools -> Settings -> Connection. Is this a restriction imposed by Vodafone (v11.0.0.45) or did I screw it up with all the different softwares I installed and removed? Thanks.
