Hey Guys,

Firstly: don't judge me! Haha

Ok, so I bought a dopod c730 from a mate (it was cheap) to use its wifi to try and connect to wifi hotspots (mainly at my hotels in Europe. Now: what else do i need to do to the phone to make sure it connects? Hope this doesn't seem like a silly quesiton, but does it need to be signed up with any particular carrier befpore i go or can I just use it for it's WIFI feature?

Has anyone used something similar when travelling in Europe?

Many thanks!

This is probably the wrong forum to ask, if you can see the specs here it does support wifi. As long as the 'hotels' support 802.11G and you enter in the appropriate details I don't see a problem! Have fun, looks like a nice smartphone!
