hi guys ayone know if this is gps compatible in nz? a friend bought it for me in singapore @.@

im not sure if this will work with wm6 either if anyone with information please let me know! =) thanks

actually it turns out to be a dopod 818 pro, i already flashed couple of things got some god cabs, and it has wm6.1 prophet nitro now. and btw the site u gave me is very complicated and confusing for a newbie to use. i literaly studied the site for a few hours and then got somewhere.

Im currently using this phone and GPS definitely works in NZ. So if you use googlemaps, things works fine. You could install tomtom onto the device but as you will soon find out, there are no NZ maps available to it at this stage so googlemaps seems to be the only way.

Its a great phone and have used it for the better half of 2 years and have little complaints about it.
