Hi everyone

I just got an OKTA touch as an insurance replacement for my murdered HT Titan.

I don't know much about it, anyone got any tips and pointers about it? I'm not extremely technology savvy but I'm pretty good at working things out, but if anyone wants to help me out I would really appreciate it!

Also, I was re-entering all my address book details (my Titan is so dead I couldn't active sync it) and I put my new phone down for 20 minutes or so. When I came back to it the green indicator light was still flashing but the phone would not show anything on the screen. I thought it might need charging so I hooked it up, and the indicator turned red!!! Have I already murdered my new phone??????

No.. sometimes this phone does that for no good reason just take the battery out for 3 secs and then put it back in and turn on..

Thanks heaps! Now I can start playing in earnest. I'm hoping now that people here have some great tips to help me get the most out of my OKTa Touch, including the fun stuff heheh

Why are you re entering your contacts?

If you had active sync'd your Titan, then all your contacts should be in Outlook?? So all you had to do was connect your Touch and set to synch contacts and all the contacts already in Outlook sych to the Touch.. a 2 second job

Mostly it's because it was a double homicide - my phone and laptop were victims of a horrible crime! (140kg flatmate planted hoof on bag whilst in the midst of a tanty).

That'd have killed it! lol .. search for PIM Backup on line, the easiest way to keep an 'offline' contacts, SMS etc
