Specs:
Palm Zire M150
1.5mb Free
USB Sync Cable

Wanting to control:
Panasonic SA-HE75 Amp/Tuner
Mitisubishi CT-29GB1 29" TV
Sony DVP-NS575P DVD Player

So basically, I have a Palm Pilot that I'm not using, and before I sell it, I thought I may be able to use it as a multi remote to control three devices.

So I started with OmniRemote 2.14 Pro.
Great user interface, great button creation thing, learns and controls TV fine. But with the DVD Player and Amp signals, it accepts, learns, and stores the signal fine, but when you push the button after it has learned the signal, nothing happens. Tried different angles, different distances away from the device, can't get it to work.

Next was RemoconCon for Palm OS
Horrible interface, rather old.
Learns, stores, and controls the TV and Amp fine, but won't accept the signal of the DVD Player, it's a different frequency (also the other program accepted the signal).

And lastly, Phillps ProntoLite
Which now doesn't exist, they have stopped work on it, so you can't get a registration code for it, anyway, that would only work for 15 days.

So, any suggestions on what I should try next? Thanks.

Not a suggestion on new thing, but I've tried OmniRemote when I had my Palm before. The main thing is that you might want to invest on their OmniRemote module. I think the IR on Palm is not the CIR (Consumer IR) grade. I'm not sure it works on the Zire though.

Thanks, but the module won't work, as my Palm Pilot won't take that, as it doesn't use a Cradle.

Also, while I know the IR thing isn't great, I'm only a meter or two away from the devices, and it worked on the TV just fine, so I don't think range won't be much of an issue.
