Hi:
I just updated the IPAQ 3970 with latest btw-ce. All are goin very well. Just the problem when i connect my laptop's network by "join a personal network".

The ppc shows network connected, but the status appears no data signal between them. I cant even disconnect the network , it just hanging around (Reset to restart).(Laptop ip 192.168.0.1, 3970 Ip 192.168.0.2)

I try to ping the IPAQ 3970 through my laptop. it doenst work. but the strange thing is If i connect IPAQ 3970's bt network through my laptap. it works very well. IPAQ 3970's Active connections shows Incoming connection successful and the status is normal. I can ping the IPAQ 3970 from my laptop with data retrieve reply.

Could anyone help me sort out this problem ?

Let me see if we understand this: if you join the PAN from your laptop it works ok, but from your Pocket PC it doesn't?

When it works, are you able to access a service on the Internet, like a website or an e-mail server? Can you PING from your Pocket PC a domain on the Internet, like www.wired.com?

Have you checked personal firewall software? Zone Alarm works ok if it's set to medium, and remember the built-in Windows XP SP2 firewall (if you're using SP2).
