Having tried every security certificate installation from Visual Studio 2008 Pro on my Snap, most of which will not install and the others not work, I still cannot connect the Snap to VS. The only other reason I can find in documentation with VS is that the OEM or Provider (Telecom) have blocked it from development.

Does anyone know if this is the case and if so, is there a way to get it unblocked?

After no one replied to your last message, did you perhaps take a few minutes to look around and realise that this forum is for the Snap ISP, and nothing at all to do with the HTC Snap phone? You might want to post in the development forum or perhaps on another site entirely.

First I have moved this to the correct forum - Windows Mobile.

Second I recommend you should read a bit more about Windows Mobile Security Model - Windows Mobile Standard behaves in a different way from Windows Mobile Prodessional and so on.

You can remove the certificate lock by following these instructions.

Telecom has nothing to do with this, it is just the way it is (it appears any time anything doesn't work as expected it's Telecom's fault).
