Let's go in parts...

First problem: it may be that the memory card is formated with FAT. If this is the case then there's a limit on the number of files you can have stored on the \ folder, regardless of space available.

If you have lots of files (songs or pictures for example), then create a folder and move these files there. The easiest way to do this is by placing the Pocket PC on its cradle, open ActiveSync and click the Explore button. Then you can browse the contents from your desktop.

Then we go for the next one...

Have you followed my instructions to move files to folders on your memory card?

Ok, if you have moved files to folders (make sure you only have folders on your memory card, and the personal files are in these folders) then it can be a problem with the card or the Pocket PC itself.

What program are you trying to install that comes with this error message?

I have tried several programs when I get the error message about not being able to install. and the one where I get the This is not a valid Pockpc Program is with the PocketPc City Map and PocketPc Atlas and The Pharos OSTIA GPS Navigation and Routing software for PocketPc, and I have had them all installed and working but know it will only let me have one installed at a time.

When you install the program from Add/Remove on ActiveSync do you leave the Install on Default Location box checked?

If yes, how much main memory you have left on your Pocket PC?

You might have to hard reset your Pocket PC to restore its original configuration. Then you can install everything again.

Make sure you copy the contents of your memory card and erase it before you install the programs again.

I still think it is related to memory configuration.

I got part of the problem solved I guess from what Pocketmap say that I can't have more the one GPS software install at the same time so I did remove two of them and that seem to do it I haven't had anymore problems since but I have not tried putting the Sweeldisk back in so will see what happens Thanks for Your Help
