OK, I'd like to think I know what I'm doing with these things, but this has got me stuffed.
I work at two phone stores now..... both have D-Link WiFi Routers that are identical, and i can connect to one and not the other. I have checked and changed everything and put it all back to normal, but I have no idea what's actually going wrong.
I'm using WEP, have re-entered the key countless times to make sure of that, I've tried a different KEY, I've tried configuring the second router to be identical SSID and Key to the first one, that didn't work so put them back to different ones. The only thing I haven't tried is disabling WEP, cos i don't want to.
Any tips?? Do Pocket PC's have any weird things like needing the SSID in caps or anything like that? It's detecting it, asks for the key, and just won't connect, eventually times out.
I've tried entering the network manually, and then just turn on WiFi and let it connect - no luck. Just need some advice..... anyone had a similar problem before??
I can successfully connect my laptop to both networks with no hassles whatsoever....
