Hi, i have successgully been able to setup a vpn connection to work and use active sync. this is via a WIFI connection.
But......... For some reason the GPRS connection times out. After doing an Trace rt i have found that it just stops at an unknown address. It did the same when i disconnected the VPN.
So i suspected the data wasn't traveling down the VPN connection
I have found these posts regarding the issue
"It is not recommended practice to use NAT for subscription networks, as they do not provide a 'complete' internet service. Certain peer-to-peer services will not work through NAT, as they require both devices to be publicly addressable.
All seems fine - no? Try connecting to any host on the private network. Mail server, terminal server, web server. I bet you it doesn't work. That's because two routes have been allocated on the 10.0.0.0 mask 255.0.0.0 network. When you try and connect to your mail server (eg 10.0.0.6) the packets go straight out through the first matching route - the GPRS, and never even see the VPN route."

i am running a H6315 (Unlocked & BIOS switched to H6365) on GPRS/ WIFI with Telstra
Also i have another Imate pda2k which i'm told by their technical wizards will do the same.
Does anyone know of a VPN solution to get me around the problem, or a way of changing the routing tables for the VPN so that it works
