Do you want only WM6 (older version) or would you be happy with something newer? Either way, Mauricio is right - XDA Devlopers. I have upgraded my much-loved Jasjar several times using ROMS from there.

kool thanx...its a favor for my landlord actually...as i couldnt find a factory rom i simply reloaded the bundled rom & he seems to be happy however if you could suggest a rom that you have used or are using i'll pass it on should he want a better setup

I have used ROMS from Ranju and Tomal. There are now WM6.5 versions there that I haven't used, but their stuff was certainly stable and good. Check out http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=357 but make sure you read the full thread.
