My text messages are arriving date stamped 2016, and have since 3 January.

CDMA Okta touch running Windows Mobile 6.5

The HTC forum, here, appears to confirm the issue: http://www.htcwiki.com/thread/3597186/SMS+Timestamp+wrong+since+January+1%2C+2010+on+all+Windows+Mobile+phones?offset=20&maxResults=20

According to Telecom it is a handset manufacturer problem and they are waiting for a fix.  Is anyone else having the same issue?

Edit.  All other settings are correct.  Time/Date, emails are okay, etc. I have tried a power off, a soft reset etc.  It's not too much of a problem, except the time does not show, as it is not 'today', and texts get out of order, the latest is not at the top when sort by 'received'.

I just posted on this at http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?ForumId=39&TopicId=55964

I obviously need to read the previous topics first...

Also I'd say you will be out of luck - the Okta Touch was never released with Windows Mobile 6.5 so you won't get an "official" update. Look for your unofficial ROMs.

And I moving this discussion to the Windows Mobile forum.

Thanks Mauricio. I did search Geekzone before posting, (Win Mob and Telecom) and did not find the post referred to above.
