Hi all

Not sure whether you can help but Vodafone don't seem to want to know.
I've got a HP hw6515 and am trying to access to net via GPRS. I've entered the details as found on the web : APN- pp.vodafone.co.uk etc etc, and although GPRS says that it's connected, it wont load webpages, or let me send a MMS message. VOdafone say that the SIM has been set for GPRS, so it must be a setting on my IPAQ.

Can anyone suggest what I might be doing wrong?

Thanks

Ian

Welcome to Geekzone... If the status is shown as connected, try this on your Pocket PC: open File Explorer, browse to \Windows, tap on welcome.exe. Folllow the instructions and then soft reset.

The APN pp.vodafone.co.uk is used for PAYG clients. If you are on a contract you could try the internet APN.

I recommend you download the free VxUtil. You will be able to check your connection information, plus do other stuff such as PING, TRACE, etc.

As for the MMS, it's a completely different configuration and in general it uses another APN just for the messaging service.
