Hi there.

I'm not sure if you will be able to help but I have an O2 XDA II Mini S running windows mobile 5 and I am trying to use it with Tomtom 5  and a GPS receiver. I don't think there is a problem with the Tomtom software but my XDA will not link with the bluetooth device properly. The device itself is OK as it connects to another PDA that I have (running pocket PC 2003). The bluetooth on the XDA is also OK as it connects to a headset with no problem. I search for the device and it finds it, I then ask it to connect and it asks me for the pass key (0000). All is fine at this point. I then set up the outgoing port as the instructions tell me to and that looks fine as well. So all set up as it should be, but it will not maintain the "pairing" with the device, and in the tomtom software it does not list a bluetooth com port to use (presumably because the device has not paired). Have you any clues? I recon it's something in Windows Mobile as the other PDA works fine and that's running Pocket PC 2003. Any help would be much appreciated.

Martin

Hi all,
Have the same problem but not with Tom tom software. Have Median Navman 4.2 (satnav) and a Sirf star gps receiver both work fine on other things on XDA mini S though it cannot link up Set it all up as instructions, bluetooth has found device but it wont pair devices or have pair device option screen. Put in passkey 0000 Tried various com ports and no joy. Any ideas??? Has to be a flaw on XDA mini S behalf working with windows mobile. HELP.
Skidmarkmike.
