So a couple months ago i asked for help on this forum regarding my freezing issues.
It seemed to go away all together shortly after I posted that, but it's come back since two days ago and is very frequent today. I have switched out my FSP Aurum 650W for a CM V750S, despite Cooler Master's subpar history with PSUs many review sites say that have taken their PSUs much more seriously with the VS series which is the reason i picked it up hoping it would fix the issue, I have had no such luck and I still get the game hanging (black, white, grey sometimes faded yellow screen with whatever the sound tone it was playing when it crashed playing constantly)

Since the last post on the original topic I have factory restored my entire PC as well.

Any extra advice?

Edit: Would a sag in my GPU have any sort of impact?

Can you swap out for another video card to test?

Was it overheating?

I'd also consider your SSD. Before I replaced my Adata SSD with a Samsung, games would hang for 30-40 seconds every hour or so before crashing out. Windows would sometimes do the same and require a hard reset. It seemed related to heat at the time (this was in a laptop) but the Samsung SSD hasn't had any such issues.

Drivers probably or over heating.
Mine did that, Cant remember how i fixed it. (Along the lines of finding a stable release from NVidia)
Are you running Intel, NVidia, Intel, AMD?
Pretty sure it was offering the PC death by water and it didnt do it again.

I had a similar issue with AMD graphics drivers, as I kept getting recommendations to upgrade my drivers (from their software) so I did.
Turned out the newer drivers were really only suitable to be used on newer hardware, and my graphics card was just old enough for them to have disregarded it and their drivers were mishandling it badly.

Only gaming?  I'm picking overheating, I'd check the dust in the CPU and GPU fans as a quick and easy start. Can you downgrade to an older video driver?
Is it better on days when the room is cooler? A rough test is to remove the side cover and see how that goes, in case the case fan arrangement is causing hotspots to occur.
