Hi,
I don't know if anyone has any experience on this, but I have been asked to look at setting up a "gaming room", with probably around 10-12 consoles. There is a reasonably small budget, so I am not linking $1500 computers via a LAN, but was trying to look at either an XBOX system or older PC's off a decent server. The focus will be things like driving games, sports games like FIFA, etc.
If anybody has some ideas I would love to hear them - I am starting basically from scratch, and will have mainly 11-17 year old kids playing on the system a couple of times a week - in between times we want to pack most of the system down to be able to use the space for other things.
I know this is a little out there, but hopefully someone has done something similar.

sorry I don't quite understand? if you're just wanting to get xboxes together, just grab a switch and hook them all up.

I have got about that far with wprking out the basics of the setup - I am more looking at how well a system like this works game wise ( I have always been more ps2 than xbox), as in what games really use this system effectively, and are there any other things I should be thinking about.
It is remarkably hard to find a concise roundup of games that play well as system link - I think it may be a little trial and error, but hopefully there are people who have set up a similar system and know what goes well and what should be left well alone.

Thanks for your reply - I know the post is a bit cryptic, but in summary it is mainly what games should I focus on, as 8 copies of a game gets expensive quickly!

Well I have a gigabit network with an underground cable that goes down under the neigbours back yard to a friends house then a wireless N bridge across the road. to another house. The xboxs are connected into the same network and we have halo nights into the wee hours of the morning. Halo works very well with System link. up 2 16 players. its quite good.
