Ok,
So, i have an old sony vaio (here which is a cute little thing and i'm loath to get rid of it as it's perfect for movies (especially in the car for the kids) and basic pc tasks such as email, word, internet etc... Here's the specs of the laptop -
UK Model PCG-SRX41P with Intel 815EM (82815) and 256 PC100 memory
Yes, i know... it's an oldie... however, what i want to achieve is to be able to run counter-strike 1.5 (yes, 1.5) on it at a reasonable rate. Given that this is a relatively old games and graphics requirements are pretty low i'm currently running it with settings turned down but it's only giving me 20-30fps.
I have been searching far and wide for some sort of utility that will allow me to set various options on the card but to no avail. In windows, the only option is to change resolution. Does anyone know of any way i can tweak this oldie? Any 3rd party utlities out there that will help out?
Thanks,
Lewis.
