Hi There!

I bought this for PS3 on release date, and wasn't that impressed with it, I liked the flying best.

Considering buying it for PC, anyone else ordered it, what's the cheapest you have seen it?

Not really a case of not liking it as much as just wasn't as good as GTA 3 SA, and I like to give things a better chance, I didn't really enjoy it on console

Love it on PS3, friends and I still get together every Friday night for a few hours of online play.

I can see the online aspect of the PC version being ruined pretty quickly with hacks/mods that will turn it to crap....

Not interested in multiplayer at all.

The pace of the game seems wrong to me in GTA4 and 5. I consider the pinnacle of GTA at this stage to have been SA and I also quite enjoyed Saints Row.

Not keen on supporting Rockstar by purchasing pre order or at release, tired of their bad behaviour: bad console ports, released ages later than other platforms, not making Red Dead Redemption PC, small core game size and lots of paid DLC...

I'll buy it via steam in a sale x years from with all the DLC included for <$10... /longtail

Yeah the main campaign/story being co-op in Saints Row 3 and 4 is really fun.

it got a little over the top and silly, but I prefer the more arcadey type experience. The other game that reminds me a lot of it was Crackdown and Crackdown 2 and the other one now I think about it was Just Cause 2

Yeah SR has always had that over the top style.

From what I've read the GTA V main campaign/story is single player, co-op is a separate GTA Online world/mode.

Pre-ordered via Steam for the $1.2 million in game cash bonus.

I did have a large problem on install however. I pre-downloaded the game (59.1GB) to my 120GB SSD. What they don't tell you however, is you need twice that space to actually decrypt and unpack those files so your drive fills up and you find yourself stuck about 5GB short.

If this happens to you - http://gtaforums.com/topic/783134-how-to-move-preload-to-a-different-drive-steam-version-diskspace-issues/

Paid $46 USD it's downloading. Won't be finished tonight unfortunately.

I have a connection capable of 5MB/s and it's varying between 3.6Mbps and 160K/s very annoying.

All done and installed. I only have a single GTX970 and it was a constant 60 FPS till I went in and put the refresh rate up - it changes from the desktop one. Now its mostly in the 110 range, drops to 80s sometimes. Graphics dont really look any better than console to me. still cant get over how many jaggie edges there are on things.

Enjoying what I've played so far, I have an i2600K/GTX580 SLI  setup and it seems to be handling everything fine while it's running. My biggest problem is that after 5-10 minutes the game suddenly stops, it's like BF4 all over again. Will fiddle around with things I guess

I decided to buy the physical disc version.  Only reason really to support local retailers (I know JB HiFi is Aus owned, but hey, they hire local staff).

For anyone else considering this be warned there a 7 DVDs to install and then it download a 5GB day-one patch.  (Defeats the purpose somehwat if you bought physical because you have a slow internet connection).  Rockstar's servers were obviously heavily loaded last night so the 5GB took a good 4.5 hours to download, even on a 100Mb fibre connection.

Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?
