Hi There!

Free or Paid, what game review sites do you currently frequent? Ideally one with timely video reviews often.

I am currently mostly on IGN since Game Trailers bit the dust.

I used to like Zero Punctuation but actually it got boring, so I quit it.

GiantBomb is pretty decent, but yeah, YouTube tends to be the main contender.

Anything I say is the ramblings of an ill informed, opinionated so-and-so, and not representative of any of my past, present or future employers, and is also probably best disregarded.

Yep, as above. Generally reviews don't make too much of an impact on my buying decision unless it's a truly terrible game. But I find Youtube great, and can quickly jump between multiple videos to get a good idea of what a game is about.

I sometimes check out videos from boogie2988 or angryjoeshow to name a couple of examples.

The mainstream gaming web sites sites are mostly shills for the publishers that pay their advertising revenue, I have little faith in their objectivity these days.

There are loads of good independent reviewers on youtube though, AngryJoe and TotalBiscuit are two of my favourites:
