Hey

I know its an archaic game but its fun and I want to play it lan with a few friends. It wont work on my new machine!
It will install and load up properly, i can get all the way to actually playing, and when i go to walk fowards... nothing.
The screen sort of shakes a bit and looking around it really jumpy. The machine is deffinatly up to running it (It runs COD4 on full easy)

I have a Nvidia Ge Force 8600 256mb GPU and a 3.6ghtz dual intell processor or somethin... 2gb ram... I have no idea what model the motherboard is.
Its not a grandpa computer.

I have an older HP laptop that runs it fine, you may be asking "why not just play it on there"
my answer is "because i dont want to"

I heard that there were conflicts with the 8800 series of my card but couldnt find any thing about mine.
I have all the latest drivers for everything and patches for the game and have tried inummerable different settings on the graphics card control panel. I have also reinstalled it to many times to count. It is a legit version.

Cheers for any help
