So I've downloaded steam and Origin and have come across a few problems

1. Steam and Origin download quite slow compared to my connection. My PS4 downloads way faster. I run them both in administrator mode is there something else i should be doing

2. Battlefield 1 tells me i don't have enough Bandwidth to play. Upnp is enabled and i cant forward the ports for it as i have forwarded some of the ports it needs for ww2 on ps4. Is there a way to fix this

Any help is much appreciated

Steam uses local caches if available, so check your Steam settings that its set to NZ. Also, if its not a popular game in NZ, the local caches might not hold the files, so it has to look overseas for them.

Yeah definitely check your steam cache is set correctly, or maybe try a different NZ cache. What ISP are you with and is it copper or fibre or...? Also wired or wifi?  I'm with 2 degrees and generally find steam is pretty good at saturating my connection :)  I think Origin is pretty good too though I don't use it as much.

doesn't sound right, i can DL stuff at 60 MB /s on origin, I think steam is a bit faster.

Steam usually saturates my 100/20 connection so as others have said you may be downloading from an overseas cache for some reason.

As far as your port forwards go, you can only forward a specific port to a one device at a time. Try turning off the ps4 and pc, restart the upnp service on your router (or reboot the router) fire up the pc again and you should be fine. I can't explain your BF1 bandwidth problems though. How fast is your connection?

So your connection speed looks good :) Is your pc hard-wired to the router or wifi?
