Heyya

Well the HDMI for my screen wont connect to my 60GB PS3 or Computer, however it does work with my brothers XBox360 and my friends 60GB PS3.  He also has the same screen as me and my PS3 works with his screen as does my computer.

I've looked on google but this problem doesnt seem to be happening to anyone else, would someone be able to shed some light on the issue?

Thanks in advance.

Have you tried holding the ps3 power button on till a beep, this will reset the display and should hopefully pick up the ps3 on your tv

Has HDMI been selected under the display settings under the system settings?  This may be hard to configure if you can't get a display at all??

I would of thought a reset would have done it..

When you were testing your friends stuff on your TV, did you use their HDMI cable or your cable? i.e could be the cable.

I used, both my cable and his cable, and his screen and my screen, and his playstation and mine, that playstation models are the same, as are the screen models.

Long shot, but try unplugging your TV from the power supply for 5 minutes. Had a TV twice refuse HDMI connections, both times fixed by disconnecting power from TV.

Slightly different to your situation as the TV wouldn't accept any HDMI connections, but nothing to lose by trying.

failing all the above grab a large hammer and threaten it wildly with GBH should it choose not to work this usually works for my mate and his PC to TV woes... all jokes aside if your friends gear works on your TV but yours does not I'd be looking at taking all or part of the gear back to the retailer for replacement
