I have recently been searching around for Fallout: New Vegas Collectors Edition for PS3 and can't seem to find any store in NZ which isn't sold out of the pre-order copy. I would prefer to get the pre-order copy because it includes an add-on which isn't included with the regular copy.

Can someone please lead me to a site/store which isn't out of stock of the collectors edition for PS3.

Cheers :)

Seems that unless you want the PC version, you're out of luck.  Far as I can see, it's sold out at EB Games, Mighty Ape, Fishpond, The Warehouse, Harvey Norman, Bond and Bond, and CD Wow.  Essentially, no one has it.  You didn't wait all the way until now to order it did you?  With pre-orders not actually costing anything until release, there's no reason not to order a game the instant it's announced if you're sure you'll want it.

Perhaps you could go down to EB Games or whatever and ask to be placed on the list in case someone else who pre-ordered falls through?

Did you even look there? Not to mention someone already stating on this thread that it's sold out there...

It doesn't say whether it is the collectors edition or not but the New Veges Mighty Ape has available on PS3 will be released on the 31st of October.

Here's the link:

http://www.mightyape.co.nz/search/?s=fallout&i=720

I'm sure aBuritto is capable of checking out the website for himself, most times I will try and provide as much information as possible but I am currently at work at the moment.

And also I am dealing with and helping out a lot of my family affected by the recent Canterbury earthquakes that have had their houses completely destroyed. Please keep this in consideration..

Regards
Conor

I agree that he could've checked the website himself, and he probably did. As did I. As did Kyanar. Then you come along and say it's available when it's not. A quick search for Fallout Vegas shows the versions available and Collector's on PS3 is not one of them.

I'm all for helping out and not spoon feeding and giving enough info for people to find their solution themselves is great. But actually, you only provided false information.

The fact your family, like thousands, has been affected by the earthquake is terrible but is neither here nor there and has no place in this discussion. It's a tradegy, not an excuse.

P.S. I found a copy from the UK, but they won't ship to NZ. Something like that might be your best bet.

My point being bazzer is; if I have given the wrong info I am unable to check whether or not it is the collectors edish at this time. I received an e-mail from mighty ape a few days ago saying that they have a special offer pack available for New Veges, I assumed it might have been the collectors edition aBuritto was after.

And I wasn't trying to form an excuse I just have a lot on my shoulders at the moment - is that too hard for you to comprehend?

I also said I wasn't sure if it was the collectors edition from the info I received? Indicating that I could be wrong. But aBuritto probably checked this out.

The fact that I stated in my first post that you (aBuritto) will probably find it on mightyape was a fair assumption that it might or might not be there. Considering this topic isn't hugely urgent I personally thought that answer was worth my 2c.

Yeah, it was on mightyape about a month ago. But its recently sold out due to very limited pre-order's allowed in New Zealand and Australia by the game publishers.

If you have so much on your shoulders maybe you shouldn't spend your time adding unhelpful posts to threads here?  I could say the same about myself, but I am pretty care free.  Or at least nothing worth mentioning to the world.

I mean seriously, you came into this thread late, contradicted information already given with no solid backing and now you're trying to justify your actions.  That's cool, but how would you expect not to be called out for it?

To be honest I couldn't care less what you say or think but what I do find ridiculous is that evertime I post something anywhere on this site I somewhat sooner or later find that the name 'bazzer' always has a comment to say about my posts..? Do you have some sort of problem..? (Who knows?) Are you a moderator..? (No) Should you just let things be because this is only a forum where all infomation could possibly be or not be categorically correct.. and this particular thread in my opinion was not of vital importance to myself. I simply made a suggestion, covering my bases that I may be wrong..

This is not the centre of the universe.. Lighten up bazzer.

I'll tackle your questions one by one, assuming they are (or are not) rhetorical.

cgrew: To be honest I couldn't care less what you say or think but what I do find ridiculous is that evertime I post something anywhere on this site I somewhat sooner or later find that the name 'bazzer' always has a comment to say about my posts..?
Not really a question, but I'll answer it anyway.  I wouldn't say it's everytime you post.  Maybe it is, I don't really keep track, but I really doubt it.  I can only guess it's because your posts annoy me by seeming to portray more knowledge than they really contain (like this one).  The point of this forum, I thought, is to be helpful.  "Facts" that are not facts, or info that is incorrect doesn't help or add anything.  P.S. I had a quick look and I found a bunch of posts that you've made where I haven't commented at all.  That's not a reflection of the quality said quotes I should mention, perhaps I was just busy.

cgrew: Do you have some sort of problem..? (Who knows?)
I wouldn't a call it a "problem", per se, but it might be due to a superiority complex.  I'm not a shrink.

cgrew: Are you a moderator..? (No)
You got this one yourself.

cgrew: Should you just let things be because this is only a forum where all infomation could possibly be or not be categorically correct.. and this particular thread in my opinion was not of vital importance to myself. I simply made a suggestion, covering my bases that I may be wrong..
I would say no, I shouldn't let things be because someone, who may place more importance on this thread than you, might think "Great, mightyape has got it back in stock even though someone already stated it was sold out!".  Only to check the website and find "Oh no, the first guy was right all along.  What a waste of time!".

cgrew: This is not the centre of the universe.. Lighten up bazzer.

True dat.  Word.  I'll say I'm sorry if it will help?
