Sweeet.

So my 14 year old brother has had GTA- San An, For ages.
And I decided to play it yesterday, was bored, should have been studying!
Its quite funny that my parents brought him that when he was 12...
I dont know GTA very well, but my brother had left his saved game on so I started playing and the next thing I know, is that the guy is doing it' with his girl! This made me laugh.

1. becuase the graphics were average
2. The guy didn't even get naked!
3.  It was fully average and only lasted 30 seconds
and 4. Its my brothers favorite part of the game!

love it! Haha

Your brother needs to invest in the Hot Coffee patch (or maybe that was a later one?).... San An caused all sorts of outrage when it first launched, for its content. Compared to TV and the Interweb it seems mild and has gone down in history as such... While it is illegal to let a minor play a restricted game, it seems to be pretty commonly spread.

If I had GTA when I was 12, that would probably be my favorite part too : (

i bought gta when i was 11 and gamesman said "sorry u need id"
and the guy behind the counter jumped over and grabbed my money and the game and got the receipt. then he passed me the receipt and the game.
theoretically it was sold to an over 18...although it was given to me straight away.
good thing nowadays there are 10,000 dollar fines in place for that.

prob explains why their new plymouth branch closed :P

At least we don't live in OZ were there is no R18 restriction on games and hence a lot of games get banned so kids can't play them. However sometimes NZ suffers for their prehistoric age limit restrictions as game distributors often release an Australasian version of the game that abide by the toned down Australian censorship laws and these are the same versions released in NZ.

From the left field--- unless young kids are playing world of Warcraft or runescape, they know that the game the are playing is not real.
Sure, gta has caused a few rampages in the us (some kid went round shooting and taking cars)
It's not the games fault. Nz and oz shouldn't get "cut" versions.
I guess most people , including me, just bought it online. I got left 4 dead 2 uncut , while everyone else got the cut version from eb games.
Its quite common that 13 or 14 year olds make trademe accounts and just buy all their r18 games on there. I know at the time, all my mates were.

gz ftw

I love how they censor a game for it's fully clothed sex scenes but not for the fact that you can run around maiming civilians with a baseball bat anyway. I mean we don't want people to get the wrong idea do we?
