last i heard ps3 only send video to 1 output.

while the ps3 is off, plug everything in - then put your finger on the power button and hold it there...after about 5 seconds it will beep and re-detect video output.

if the sound still doesnt go, the output can be changed in settings once you have video back

Hope this helps.

Edit: it will beep when you first put your finger on the button - it will beep again after a few seconds

Ok I am not sure I totally understand what your post is about. If you don't have an HDMI cable for your PS3 you are going to need the composite cable shown in the picture below. You simply match the colours of the cable to the inputs of the tv.

Make sure that you are using the input of your tv. Then go to that input of your tv and you should see the PS3.

Kenny M is right, If you use your PS3 on a TV with HDMI cable the PS3 remembers that setting so when you plug in to your TV with composite it can't send the signal.

# Hold down the Power Button for 5-6 seconds - until you hear the second beep.
# That's it, your video settings are reset and you should be able to choose your input and configure it from there.
