Hi all,

As per the subject, any ideas? I placed an order with Amazon, thinking that they could email me the key as soon as my order has been processed, but turned out that they can't. Funnily I asked this before placing the order and they said yes they can do it (and asked 2 more times after placing the order to be sure, and was told the same thing). But after the order has shipped, I was told that I was given incorrect information.

So yeah, thinking of cancelling the order and placing a new order with a digital shop somewhere...

Thanks in advance!

A digital shop with online delivery is Steam. Many other shops are just distributing pirated keys.

Warning to people thinking of posting a link to a pirate key shop here: don't.

Thanks. I checked Steam but they're not distributing it (or last time I checked they didn't). Game key buys seemed legit, my key worked fine with no issues.

I got my copy from Amazon and was thinking of selling it on TradeMe but now I'm having second thoughts just in case the key I got wasn't legit...

[Removed]

US site, I can confirm this is legit, half way through the download now only 9 gigs to go! lol

register account, Pay by paypal, then within 30min they will ring you to confirm, then wait for email with cd key took about 10min. Go to Starwars main site sign up blah blah enter key and start download.

The aussie site I mention in the other thread had to take down the game as bioware complain about them selling the game at cheap prices for AUST/NZers only. Found this out when I went to pay couple weeks back and they had locked out the game.

[Removed] is okay. Cost me 70 odd bucks.

Congratulations, you have just handed over your money to some Chinese pirate.

Just because you got a link to a download it doesn't make it legit. I have removed the link.

lol, wrong. friends in Aussie have been playing the game for 3 weeks now, they brought the game from that site. You cannot play an MMO with a pirated key! Its impossible to enter the game. When you sign up to Starwars main site and enter the key it gets checked to see if its legal if its not the download button wont be enabled. Same with WoW same with Age of Conan online, same with Warhammer online. Its impossible to play on legit servers with a pirated key!!!

lol
.

eg single player game you put in a cracked key you might be able to get away with it until you log into the net and want to play multiplayer hello game complains about an illegal key whys is that? Cause the game is now ONLINE and the key will be checked. Hello its a fake. Your game is now banned.

I used www.igxe.com. They have a 5 hour key-e-mail guarantee. They don't ship the physical product though, so you'll have to download it. My key came with 3 months playing time.

the link that was taken off I am guessing cause the site does sell gold for mmo games, but hey TM allowed the selling of WoW gold and WoW game time cards imported from Singapore that were $18-20 cheaper than what they went for anywhere else in the country for years. Before I started on the visa pay method I use to buy the game time cards of an broken english speaking Asian for about 14months that right there would of scared any geek away but not a gamer ;D. And guess what the cards work they worked every time. Then it started getting out of hand we had gold farmers and wow account sellers using TM as if it was china town.

Have been playing SWTOR most of the day, can't make up my mind what to go, tried a trooper & Jedi Sen so far, next up a smuggler. Got nightshift work tomorrow & on all this weekend so going to make the most of it now.

All up it wasn't the 26g DL I thought it to be, around 15gig download, the game runs a beaut, looks great, only experience some lagg in the home fleet area.

Starting on the smuggler

What server are you on? I think most Oceanic players are in The Harbinger (PVE). I'm a Jedi Sage there.

Swiftsure  &  Crucible pits.  (PVP) Swiftsure has plenty of Oceanic players.
