So I moved from Dunedin to Christchurch a few months ago, and moved into a flatting/boarding situation. My landlord was using an old wireless modem (no 802.11n etc) so I set up my BoBlite I had lying around from Orcon.
All was well until I started noticing, when I was at home, my PSVita was saying I was in Dunedin,
Speedtest.net, when refining my location thinks I'm in Saint Clair, Christchurch, So it gets I'm in christchurch from my IP address I'm assuming but something is telling it I'm also in Dunedin.
If I use google maps to find my location over WiFi it puts me exactly in my old place down in Dunedin.
I have done a full reset of the modem and am running the latest firmware, so I'm completely clueless as to how to solve this.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks
Marcus
Just found that I can manually register a location with skyhook, however I tried this but still no success.
