Hi, I hope I have the correct terminology.
I want to connect an IP camera to my network via wireless. I know that you can get wireless IP cameras but I have a number of high quality (expensive) wired cameras which I want to use. I have been trying to interpret the various functions for wireless network devices but cannot find anything in the lower cost range that appears to do that.
I expect to have a wireless device at either end, one connected to my LAN router and the other connected to my camera. But I don't know what these devices are called. Range is in excess of 300m. Remote power will be solar.
Any advice will be appreciated.

I assume you have LOS coverage between both points? If you don't wireless is a waste of time.

All you need is a couple of UBNT Nanostation's

Got two UBNT Nanostations and set them up. Works well, basically. I connected a laptop at the Station end and, although it can see the LAN OK and can be seen by the LAN, I cannot connect to the internet.
Any suggestions? (Bound to be something simple I havn't done)

Are you using a static IP or DHCP? If DHCP are you getting a lease? Wireless is layer2 so shouldn't affect your internet accessibility.

Use 'Acces Point WDS' at the main end and 'Station WDS' for a layer 2 bridge. Obviously make sure that it is set to 'bridge' and not 'router' too. Also, probably easiest to set a static on each device just for management purposes.
