Hi all,
I'm moving from cable to DSL and I need a good wireless router/ADSL2+ modem. I've had a very reliable ASUS 802.11g wireless router while I had a separate cable modem but I don't want to have to run a separate modem and router plus it's about time to make the switch to 802.11n.
I live in Wellington, New Zealand so anything I can get from a NZ website or local supplier would be good.
Here are my technical requirements:
-ADSL2+ (VDSL2 optional - I am in VDSL2 coverage but my provider doesn't have any VDSL2 plans, I'll likely get UFB before VDSL2)
-802.11n (we have ~10 wireless clients regularly connected)
-At least 4 LAN ports
-NAT
-DHCP
-Must support VPN passthrough
-Firewall
-Lastly and most importantly must be reliable (how much will I spend to never have to explain to my wife why the router just died?)
Thanks in advance for any help!
Cheers,
Darrel
