Hi all,
I have a Wag310g and have been using this for a number of years with Xnet connection and to date its been an acceptable device. Unfortunately with the world we are now living in and the increased demands on wireless connections I am having some trouble with the reliability and coverage of WIFI within my home. Tv and phones etc struggle to get a reliable connection on the ground floor of our 2 story home with the wireless router being on the 2nd floor in a room (that room has PC's connected through ethernet so dont really want to change location of the router)
I was trying to find a better VOIP router which had stronger or better WIFI coverage but couldn't really find anything that was going to be a big improvement on the wag310g. Are there any i have missed?
I need to either find a new router or add something that improves the WIFI coverage downstairs.
One thing I am sure is relevant but not sure how to use is the house has cat5 cable installed throughout the house, so has access points downstairs and in other rooms - but I dont know how to us these to extend range / reliability?
Can anyone please suggest some things to try to improve stability and range of network to both upstairs and down?
Thanks, appreciate any suggestions.
David
