Hi all.
I have a wireless modem/router at home.
My daughter got an iPod Touch for Christmas and I would like to have some control over the hours she spends on the internet with it, I figure the easiest way would be to control her access to the wi-fi network.
I have two options as I see it, since there are no easy methods of setting up the iPod directly;
1/ Set up a second wi-fi network for her use (and kick her off the current one) and have this physically switch on and off with a programmable power controller. A bit crude but it should work OK I think.
2/ Try to find a programmable unit to replace our existing one that could somehow control her access.
I know very little about networks and don't know if option 2 is possible.
As further information, the router I have installed is a Linksys WAG200G Annex-A.
Any comment and advice would be gratefully received.
Thanks
Ian
