Hi, I am sure this has been asked loads of times.....But I cant see anything in the reviews section....

Basically I want to add some Bluetooth functionality to my Vista Ultimate PC & also to give bluetooth functionality to my XP SP2 Laptop.

I have purchased a Logitech Traveller Bluetooth Headset for my mobile phone & have been considering using the headset for skype on my PC & laptop(If possible)

I was looking for some good bluetooth software that is well supported and updated with new functionality as it comes out, I remember reading a post that some manufacturers stopped updating the software, so was a nightmare to get working sometimes...

I am happy to pay more for a good solid dongle with great software & support.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Regards

John

If you plug a USB Adapter to a Windows Vista machine it should work out of the box and connect with the headset. On Windows XP SP2 though it will work, but won't have the headset profile - in this case you will need to use the device's own software.

All Bluetooth adapters come with their own software, and you should use that (unless you want to use the Windows Vista default drivers). Before purchasing the adapter, check that its software supports the headset proflile.
