Signed up today on this site. My xbox ones internet connection all of a sudden stopped working after 2 weeks use. It said I had no toredo IP and to open port 3544. I looked up every possible solution about forwarding ports and what not. After a good 3 hours with my mate who is a programmer (or something along those lines) he couldn't fix it. Then after he left I read somewhere that if you restore your xbox one to factory default and change location from Nz to Australia it can work. I gave this a go and to my surprise this has worked for me. I'm still amazed. I'm not sure how long his will work for but I will respond to this thread if it does crap out again

Sounds like your Xbox One just needed a reboot. When you switch regions, you get the restart option. Did you try rebooting it before that?

Do whatever you want to do man.

yeah im hoping the reboot will fix the problem completely... i tried to book a movie through xbox video and it made me change my region back to new zealand. so obviously the region change does nothing.
