I'm no stranger to Azureus and port forwarding. I've been doing this song and dance ever since the torrent scene started. But after moving to New Zealand from the states, I've experienced nothing but problems with forwarding ports -- at best, I get firewalled half the time, and greenlight the other. Recently, however, I've been getting nothing but firewalled status.
I've configured my flatmate's DSL-502T router/modem using the virtual server settings, and I've dedicated a static IP for my wireless connection via my laptop (listed as a "LAN IP" under the virtual server firmware window). I know I have things set up right, according to portforward.com (even though their instructions for 502T are inconsistent with my firmware), not to mention commonsense, but here's what happens when I do a NAT test:
Testing port 55535 ...If I turn off my proxy, I get the same error without the last line above. I can turn off Windows Firewall settings, and I get the same error. I noticed that the IP used for the NAT test is not my static IP; perhaps that has something to do with it?
NAT Error - Connection to x.x.x.x:55535 (your computer) refused
Proxy IP is '127.0.0.1' but this is a local address ('Forwarded-For' request header was '127.0.0.1').
My ISP is Orcon, btw.
I'm at my wit's end. Any guidance would be much appreciated. Thanks all.
