I have a desktop with a direct dsl line connecting it to the internet. I am running a wireless bluetooth connection to my laptop via 2 bluetooth usb dongles connected to each computer. I have my server computer (desktop) connected directly to a usb printer. Is it possible to print from my client computer (laptop) through my desktop with bluetooth or do I need to have a bluetooth connection on my printer. If so can anyone explain how to make this happen. Thanks for the help.
I think that you can print over Bluetooth on this configuration if you're using PAN profile instead of LAP. If you have a Widcomm based Bluetooth software, PAN is in use when the network configuration on Bluetooth is set to Private Network, not Internet Access, like in this picture:
