Hi all, newbie here with a headache! I'm running a CCTV program with a DVR card on my PC (AMD 64 3200+ with 1gb ram and 256mb nvidia graphx). This is connected directly to a Sitecom DC202v5 router which in turn is connected to the Sky/Netgear DG834GT modem. Neither mine or the other 3 PC's in the house are wireless enabled and the 2 pc's downstairs are connected to the Sitecom to save a cat5 cable run. Now I need to configure my 2 routers to forward a port to my CCTV software (i-Catcher Console) and I'm about 30 seconds from throwing the toys out of the pram!

Any help greatly appreciated.

Goto www.portforward.com.

Choose the brand of router you use from the list.  Follow their instructions on how to set up port forwarding.

Job's done :)

DG834GT port forward rule forwards to WAN interface (static ip) on Sitecom. Sitecom forwards to PC (static ip).
